What is "in mold labeling"?
In-mould labeling, or IML for short, is a printing process that prints logos, images, photos or illustrations on products in razor-sharp quality and full color. This is done on both thin-walled and reusable plastic products, flat or round.
The logo and/or image are pre-printed in high quality on a polypropylene film and are then fused under heat with the plastic in the mold.
IML labels are completely food-safe and ensure that products leave the factory ready-to-print. The quality of these labels is of a high standard and dishwasher safe, ensuring a longer service life.
