From a passion for bicycles and strollers, friends Louis De Brucker and Francis Pluym started a mold shop in a garage in Antwerp. They are the two founders of this family empire.
We are therefore proud to say that we stand for
In 1960, DBP develops and produces the first lunchbox. Ten years later, in 1970 we produce the first thin-walled plastic packaging for ice cream.
DBP develops and produces durable, innovative injection molded products for food preservation. We have a fixed assortment but are very happy to work on customer demand and customization.
DBP is known for an extensive assortment that is constantly evolving. The possibilities range from single-use, recyclable packaging for salads, margarine, ice cream or meat products to reusable storage boxes for on-the-go and at home and innovative take-away and catering solutions.
Sustainability and quality are an Olympic minimum for DBP. In our production in Wilrijk, we experiment with the use of new materials and sustainable concepts.
In 2022, three generations later, Myriam De Brucker heads the company DBP Plastics. The team has an expertise that allows us to continue to innovate while maintaining our values.
